Dangerous goods ADR / IMDG
Coordinated management of transport, documentation and customs operations.
Requirements and procedures
Classification, documentation and transport requirements
Classification of the goods
Classification is the responsibility of the party consigning the goods for transport and determines the applicable mode, documents and limits. We check its consistency with what is declared.
Required documentation
Shipments require specific documentation depending on the transport regime and the class of the goods.
Packaging and markings
Packaging, labels and markings must comply with the applicable requirements: this is checked before the goods are taken in charge.
Carrier requirements
Not all carriers accept every class: transport is arranged through carriers qualified for the specific class, and we check acceptance conditions before booking.
ADR / IMDG
The rules for road and sea transport differ: the solution is set up according to the mode actually used.
Transport regulations and customs
Transport requirements come on top of customs formalities: the two must be managed together to avoid delays.
Possible restrictions
There may be limitations on destination, quantity or mode of transport, to be assessed at the quotation stage.
